Amenities & Design

River & Warren, the striking new Battery Park City condominium on the Hudson, is surrounded by thirty-six acres of green space, nestled between Teardrop and Nelson A. Rockefeller Parks. Conveniently located not only between two popular parks but near transportation and shopping, the building has an array of amenities, from its landscaped rooftop park to its elegant lobby and state of the art fitness center. But such features are just the start, since River & Warren was designed with a refined, sophisticated point of view by world-renowned architects CetraRuddy.

The aesthetic qualities of River & Warren’s interiors begin with its walk-through lobby, which elegantly connects the Hudson River waterfront with Teardrop Park. While taking this pleasant shortcut, resident’s eyes are drawn to the large, organically shaped concierge desk in the lobby that enhances the entire space. The sculptural desk, along with the walnut-crafted backdrop of the seating area, create an atmosphere that feels both natural and luxurious. Such elements of the overall River & Warren design serve to reflect its surroundings—the water and the parks—while still providing a contemporary New York sense of style.

Designed by the acclaimed architecture firm CetraRuddy, the interior of every residence at River & Warren is built to maximize the beautiful location and expansive views. The large windows of each residence command attention while the oak floors speak to the skill and quality of craftsmanship. Although the look of each residence is decidedly modern and sleek, the rich tones of the oak flooring add an illuminating warmth.

In the kitchens, white Italian marble countertops and backsplashes provide an elegant, clean look and are complemented remarkably well by the island topped by coveted Bleu de Savoie stone. An oak arch that surrounds the stainless steel hood of the island also introduces another organic element.
In the realm of amenities, River & Warren features a yoga studio with separate, private training rooms as well as a full, state-of-the-art fitness center that is infused with a blanket of natural light from windows overlooking the Hudson River and the park. The children’s playroom is nautically-themed, with its own kid-sized lighthouse – a nod to the building’s riverside location. With magnetic walls, and variety of books and toys, the playroom is the perfect spot for imaginative play.

Perhaps the most impressive feature in a building filled with impressive amenities is River & Warren’s rooftop park. The rooftop park perfectly reflects the natural surroundings of the building as it provides gorgeous, expansive views of the Hudson while featuring an enriching natural atmosphere. The rooftop park is fully landscaped with trees and grass, and includes cabanas in which to kick back and relax. The goal was to offer residents a rooftop park that feels like an extension of the two parks that flank River & Warren, and that is precisely what this space succeeds in doing.
